I saw this episode on CNN prepared by Dr. Sanjay Gupta when it premiered and was led back to this again now.
I am posting this here as a kind of refresher. I will let everyone draw their conclusions about Dr. Murray's version of events and his defense strategy, other than pointing out the fact that in this demonstration, the PERSON UNDER PROPOFOL SEDATION IS BEING MECHANICALLY HELPED TO BREATH by a trained nurse using an air pump and a breathing tube.
There is NO INDEPENDENT PATIENT BREATHING UNDER PROPOFOL INDUCED SEDATION, which means the person cannot be left alone. Not for a moment.
As demonstrated by the doctors here, without the help of an air pump, specialized equipment and a trained anesthesiologist in the room, supervising the patient's status without interruption, there is no chance that someone can wake up on their own after being administered Propofol.
Thank you very much, Irina, for reposting that excellent, informative, truthful and highly valuable video segment on the TRUTH about propofol. I'm sure more information following the same accurate lines will be presented in court by medical experts giving testimony when the trial is underway.
You are welcome Carmen. Here is another relevant take on the Propofol issue. This addresses physician licensing and access to Propofol as well as usage. Again there is much to draw from this in comparison to what we have observed concerning Dr. Murray.
Some interesting Tweets from Karen Faye were brought to my attention:
Karen Faye On Wednesday 2nd February 2011, @wingheart said:
It is very unusual that neither MLB or myself...who were closest, (actually TOUCHING) and were demanded and hired directly by MJ, have NOT been questioned by the attorneys in ANY case. APPEARS getting to the truth is not the IMPORTANT issue. Too many big guys with very deep pockets running the "truth about MJ" show.
Karen Faye On Wednesday 2nd February 2011, @wingheart said:
Some people keep bringing up that I was reporting on my FB how excited and great rehearsals were. This was true. All was going really well IN THE BEGINNING. Everything went terribly wrong the week before Michael's death. I was being threatened to STAY OF THE INTERNET when I started trying to get my superiors to get help for Michael. They promised me they had hired the best doctor in the world for him...AND THEN HE WAS DEAD!!!!!
Note: Michael told me that he did not hire Dr. Murray. Apparently Karen Faye has insider information that verifies this channeled statement. I agree that we are NOT seeing the truth playing out in the court system.
Was just thinking to myself that there are some very blatant flaws in this "neatly packaged story". My reasons being as follows: (a) What would a Cardiologist be doing administering Propofol? (b) Nowhere was it mentioned that this doctor is trained and licensed to administer an anesthetic. (c) If he is not a trained and licensed Anesthesiologist then how would he have access to purchase Propofol? As it is to be sold only to licensed Anesthesiologists. And of course this begs the question then who did? (d) Why would he undertake a procedure which is not his specialty? (e) Also knowing what we know about Propofol administration, it would be impossible to carry out this procedure without proper supporting equipment for breathing.
Makes no sense whatsoever. These particular puzzle pieces do not fit. At least to my mind. The only conclusion I can make AT THIS POINT IN TIME is that Propofol was introduced at the very end.
Edited to add: However lets see what new information, if any, surfaces during the actual trial.

Dr. Conrad Murray Was Talking on Phone to Waitress as Michael Jackson Was Dying, Prosecutors Say
'He Sounded Like Something Was Wrong,' Sade Anding Tells 'GMA'
By ASHLEIGH BANFIELD, TRACEY MARX and SABRINA PEDUTO Feb. 3, 2011 At the very moment Dr. Conrad Murray discovered Michael Jackson was dying, he was on a phone call to Sade Anding, a woman he'd been pursuing romantically, prosecutors contend.
Bonnie, Thank you for posting this latest tidbit about Dr.Murray. I remember mention of Ms. Anding from the pre-trial hearing. Very interesting. Dr.Murray sounds like one very busy man with work, a wife, seven kids and several girlfriends.
I do strongly doubt that Dr.Murray was going to confide in Ms. Anding about what was transpiring at Michael's house right before or during the time he called her. From her description it sounds that he was already aware of something developing at the house prior to the call and may have been nervous and possibly worried. I am speculating but perhaps he was instructed to make the phone call or he did it on his own to calm his nerves.
It appears that she has her own motives for this interview. Wonder if she was paid for the interview and a chance to appear on television did not sound too bad either perhaps?
However what is being said here is very revealing of Dr. Murray's level of integrity, when one learns that he lied to Ms. Anding about being divorced and having only two kids.
Sure sounds like an upstanding citizen with high moral values, doesn't he?
Perhaps what I said by posing the above question is the general public's reaction being elicited by revealing the sordid lifestyle details in this interview; and is a tactic to keep the focus on Dr.Murray as the only villain in this story.
Edited to add: The above maybe but one of several goals of this interview. It certainly paints Dr.Murray as an accomplished liar to most people with the exception of, judging from her responses, Ms. Anding.
And so I must have had my blinders on when I first wrote down my reaction here. This interview is also meant to give credibility to Dr. Murray's version of the timeline.

I DO NOT TRUST MS. ANDING AT ALL!!! For my observation this was another and additional attempt to keep the focus on Conrad Murray as THE ONLY ONE BEING RESPONSIBLE for Michael´s death. IF at all anything of what she said here is really true Murray as a doctor must have behaved beyond every responsibility sitting next to Michael while he was dying and do simply nothing to save him, just watching him dying ......????? Each layman sees, feels and knows when someone is passing. Please, recall what Michael said about Conrad Murray. There is something utmost wrong with this interview. And nice faces and (false???) tears do not help the truth to come out! I go with Karen Faye´s statement above - quoting: "Too many big guys with deep pockets running "the truth about MJ" show." T H E Y M U S T BE E X P O S E D AND TAKE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AND I PRAY TO GOD THEY WILL!!!
To add: Those "big guys" will only stay big as long as we people keep focusing on that illusion of them being big. Okay - they have a certain power here in the world and I know they are very dangerous and cruel and a life is of no value to them but we should not strengthen them and their illusion by saying that we could not do anything about it. We can focus on the transformation of this illusion and focusing on Love and I really believe that this will help the change.

Lawyers for Michael Jackson's former live-in physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, will be in court in Los Angeles on Monday to discuss several key pretrial matters, including whether to televise what will no doubt be one of the nation's most sensational trials ever.
L.A. Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor scheduled the hearing for Monday afternoon.
Lawyers for Murray -- who continues to practice medicine at his clinics in Houston and Las Vegas -- said he would probably be busy tending to patients and would not attend the hearing; he is not required to be there.
The judge Monday will also hear arguments Monday over whether jurors will have to fill out a questionnaire before they face an inquiry in open court.
Yes. Apparently it is OK to have an incompetent doctor on the loose in those cities. Whether he is incompetent or not remains a mystery as we are looking at a cover story here. But the message to the public in this case, is that it is not the doctor's fault here but the patient's. Sorry, I cannot help the sarcasm. This scenario is frustrating to the n'th degree. :(

I agree Irina. If given a fair shot Michael's name could be cleared and all the false claims put to bed.
Of course the media has already grabbed ridiculous theories put out by the defense during a preliminary hearing and stated them as fact. Not even a few seconds of research disputes Michael giving himself anything. They do not fact check; they go for ratings which means the story has to be as ugly as they can spin it. This spin will occur whether there are cameras or not. You are right at least if there are cameras people can decide for themselves what is really going on.
Yep, Houston and Las Vegas will not take his license unless he is convicted. Even his California license is just suspended until the trial is over. He does not practice in California anyway, so he did not give up much.
It is obvious that he is being protected on a high level.
Wow, I can't believe this will be televised! I am going to tape it as soon as I figure out how to do that on my Blu-Ray player. Of Course, the televised hearing could work the other way. The defense is trying to dig up as much dirt on Michael as possible.
Concerning Texas and Nevada. I sent my petition in to the Nevada email address, but I guess it did no good. :(
Note from Bonnie Vent: I do not usually comment but TMZ is way out of line here. See Below in RED
MJ Was On the Hunt For The Perfect Anesthesiologist
2/17/2011 1:00 AM PST by TMZ Staff
Michael Jackson was such a hard-core drug addict ... he actually interviewed an anesthesiologist to follow him to London to "take care of him." Accord to who, Dr. Murray??
Jackson -- who had a well-documented Propofol addiction for years before his death -- tried recruiting Dr. David Adams, a Las Vegas anesthesiologist, to go on tour with him in 2009. Well documented??? Where is your documentation TMZ?
We've learned Dr. Adams told LAPD investigators that several months before MJ's death ... Dr. Conrad Murray and Michael met with Dr. Adams and said, "We think it would be great to have an anesthesiologist go on the [This Is It] tour." Whose idea was it to meet with Dr. Adams. You state below that Michael did not get back with him regarding the tour.
Turns out Dr. Adams had a history with Michael ... he had put MJ under with Propofol four times in two years for various procedures. There are many procedures that require the patient be put under. It was not for sleep it was for procedures. What is your point??
Adams thought about it and texted Murray, "I'd like to be on board. Let's talk about it." But MJ and Murray never contacted him again. He was never contacted again TMZ. This is a non-issue.
Murray's defense team spokesperson Miranda Sevcik says, "Dr. Murray did not know David Adams." But Sevcik did say the defense has subpoenaed Dr. Adams for the trial. Dr. Murray claims he did not know Dr. Adams?? I thought you said above that Murray met Adams???
Could the negative spin be any more obvious? When you break it down there is NOTHING here. This is tabloid crap. The defense dances and TMZ plays to their tune.
This makes my blood boil, I bet Murray and his team are just coming up with stuff to hurry and spread around before the trial to try to make the potental jury memebers and the media believe a bunch of lies, murray need to man up and just admitt to what him and who ever was working with him did he can not run from it, I believe in Karma I have seen it work and they will get it eventually. And as far as TMZ goes that is so sick they make up crap just to make a buck even if it is about a man that isn't here to defend himself any more, but now we have to stick up for Michael after all he has done so much for the earth and the people on it.There should be a law about making up stuff and lieing about some one who has passed. I am physically ill right now, I just can';t take the bashing they do to Michael.
I love you Micael I hope and pray that you are able to rest in peace,I feel so much pain for you Michael and I will never believe there lies.
I am glad it was removed but many Hollywood Gossip blogs picked up this "poop" from TMZ. My guess is they had to take it down once their legal guy looked at it. They can't remove it from this message board or the anger it raises.
This is the agenda for the trial as well. Blame Michael and free Dr. Murray and others involved.
Hi Karin, I went and checked on TMZ, it is still there. Here is the direct link: http://www.tmz.com/2011/02/16/michael-jackson-anesthesiologist-doctor-london-tour-investigation-lapd/

Ah, I went straight to the Michael Jackson "stories" and it isn`t filed there ( as they usually do )
God, I hate TMZ ( sorry for that .. Just imagine that TMZ wouln`t excist.... They`re the only one that goes on and on about Michael...I guess that tells a lot, doesn`t it?!
Hi Irina. You probably have come across it. I posted it not long ago on the Sony Michael Jackson website. I just added the link so as to properly cite my source and allow others to read for themselves.
Many doctors are greedy, and that is yet another issue regarding the professional and ethical responsibilities they carry upon taking their oath. Many doctors who come into contact with wealthy celebrity clients will be extremely tempted or pressured to give in to the requests made by their patients, and if those doctors refuse to give the patient what he/she wants, that celebrity client will take himself/herself elsewhere, along with his/her $$$.
Murray may have been greedy and/or financially desperate. Regardless of his financial situation and related excuses, he did not properly care for his patient. That is the bottom line, and nothing else matters.
Period.
I do trust that ALL the medical experts who will be summoned to testify will be united at least in this one area of discussion.
~Carmen~
Edited for punctuation and to add: If Murray's defense team insists that Michael insisted on propofol, they'll have to prove it, and that STILL does not excuse Murray of his negligence and his actions. He, after all, is the doctor. Michael was his patient.
I personally believe that a separate lawsuit should be held in which AEG is legally put on trial for Michael Jackson's death. Murray is but one small segment of a much larger mural.

Yes, Karin, the FACT that TMZ is the ONLY media source that habitually and consistently covers this case, along with all the sordid gossip, implications and false stories around it concerns me greatly.
Not one major newspaper or TV news program regularly covers this topic. They cover it, perhaps, in terms of highlights and Murray's trial dates, but none of them goes into real detail looking for information and doing genuine research. I'm not surprised.
In my opinion, there is a direct link between the hidden people and powers who ultimately control the MSM and hidden people and powers who took Michael's life. Unfortunately, I firmly believe that the truth about many things, including what really happened to Michael, will never be revealed until those hidden people and powers are brought down. As long as they continue to exist and function as they do, the truth will be concealed, twisted and manipulated.
Regarding Murray's trial being televised, I am going to post exactly what I posted on the Sony MJ website on February 9th:
By televising it, the public - fans and non-fans of Michael, supporters and haters, and those who are just plain indifferent - will have access to the exact same information. This time around, if the MSM tries to lie, exaggerate, twist things or conceal things, those who are watching and listening to the proceedings will see this and know it right up front. The MSM will now be on trial as well, in a sense. They won't be able to pull the stunts they did back in 2005 - at lease not without being caught in their own lies!
The only bias that I foresee will be the personal bias each person brings with himself or herself while watching the proceedings. Many MJ fans have strong opinions and fears - and anger.
I think it's very important to remember that you can have 1000 people in an auditorium or room, all listening to the exact same words, the exact same lecture, the exact same presentation, and each person may walk away with a different impression, perception or message. Seeing and hearing are sometimes subjective experiences. Fortunately for the jurors and our jury system, they are dependent upon each other for awareness, note taking, critical thinking skills, weighing of evidence, and the ability and willingness to set aside personal bias. I wish the chosen jurors patience and strength, and I wish the same for those who watch this trial unfold.
What you are referring to above Carmen with regards to Murray in that "he did not properly care for his patient" is the "standard of care".
Here is a very good take on this by a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in this blog:
Dr. Murray's Death Drip Explained - Part 3, Lie #1
"I'd like to address the issue of "standard of care." This really amused me when I read that line of questioning from the prelim, because to even begin a conversation about what IS or IS NOT standard of care, one has to agree that what Murray was providing met a definition of some kind of LEGITIMATE medical care. To begin at the very beginning, propofol has absolutely no indication, on-label or OFF label, or in published or anecdotal literature, for use in the outpatient or home setting, for the reasons Murray said he was using it-- treatment of insomnia. So, to suggest or imply that there is some kind of standard of care for a cardiologist, anesthesiologist, CRNA, doctor, lawyer, nurse, or layperson to administer propofol to someone in a private home would be to give in to the urge to analyze Murray's actions AS IF they were legitimate medical care. NOTHING about what Murray did constituted legitimate medical care. The use of injectable propofol and injectable benzodiazepines in a HOME setting for relief of insomnia in a presumably healthy 50 year old man IS NOT MEDICAL CARE.
So NO, there is NO standard of care for what Murray was doing. That is the whole point. Just because Murray sports "M.D." after his name does NOT mean that anything he wants to do outside of a hospital is legitimate medical care. We do not treat ANY patients IN hospitals for insomnia with injectable propofol, so how can there possibly be a "standard of care" for Murray to do this in a private home? Even if Murray had carted in truckloads of monitors and equipment, and converted the "treatment bedroom" to a fully functional operating suite, he would STILL not have met any standard of care, or have been in compliance with any legitimate use of that drug! EVEN if he was an anesthesiologist!
And I will say this again, also: Conrad Murray would NEVER have received clinical privileges in ANY hospital to do what he was doing in that bedroom. The letters M.D. after his name are NOT sufficient to receive clinical privileges to administer sedation and/ or anesthesia in a hospital-- he would have had to document a bunch of training and education to receive those privileges, and document a legitimate need to have the privileges, as a cardiologist. Even then, the insurance carriers, hospital medical staff committee, and hospital attorneys would have a LOT of heartburn about giving him privileges to personally perform sedation and anesthesia in a hospital.
Let me say it again: there is NO legitimate medical indication for the use of propofol and boatloads of injectable benzodiazepines in a home care setting for the treatment of insomnia in a healthy 50 year old person! Therefore, there is NO standard of care to be met. That is precisely why Murray's actions were criminal, and not "mere" civil negligence."
It is a 4-part series in which she gives a very good technical breakdown and analysis of the evidence presented at the January 4th preliminary hearing:
Thank you for sharing this information, Irina! I'll be sure to read it properly by following your link when I have some time. It sounds to me as though this CRNA is in complete agreement with Dr. Friedberg as well as the coroner.
This trial is going to be very interesting. One can only wonder what spin or tactics Murray's defense will use to deflect from such medical professional observations such as these.
You are welcome! Here is her take in on your last point in the same post, Carmen, right below what I have already quoted above. I find it very interesting:
"And if the defense thinks they can find a Board Certified Cardiologist expert witness who will come in and say that what Murray was doing met the standard of care for a Board Certified Cardiologist who was treating a patient at home for insomnia by using IV propofol, well, GOOD LUCK with that search, defense team! How many Cardiologists are going to stick their neck out for Conrad Murray on this one? That would be professional suicide."
Michael Jackson case: Prosecutor says defense isn't sharing information, asks for delay of doctor's trial
February 24, 2011 | 4:31 pm
A prosecutor asked Thursday that the trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor be delayed because of what she said was the failure of the defense to share information about its planned case, including the findings of its star forensic witness.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor left the scheduled March 24 start of Dr. Conrad Murray’s trial in place, but said he shared the prosecution’s frustration and reminded defense attorneys that they could be fined or barred from calling witnesses if they did not comply with legal obligations to turn over the materials.
“Dr. Murray is entitled to have a speedy trial, but it’s not trial by lack of information,” Pastor said.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Deborah Brazil complained that with only a month before trial, Murray’s lawyers have not handed over a report or notes about the expected testimony of Dr. Paul White.
The defense acknowledged in court that White, a Dallas anesthesiologist with an expertise in propofol -- the drug that killed Jackson -- is its most important witness. But defense attorney J. Michael Flanagan insisted the expert had not prepared a report and had communicated his findings verbally. Those findings, Flanagan said, included the opinion that Jackson was addicted to Demerol and that Murray did not cause Jackson’s death.
Pastor urged Murray’s lawyers to provide more information about White's testimony to the prosecution.
“I’m just finding it very difficult to believe that a renowned forensic expert in any subject is going to take the stand without having documentation in front of him,” the judge said.
Murray, 57, is accused of involuntary manslaughter in the June 2009 death of the pop icon. His lawyers have suggested that Jackson self-administered the fatal dose of propofol.
Jackson judge, defense spar over witnesses in case By ANTHONY McCARTNEY- AP Entertainment Writer

LOS ANGELES — A judge overseeing the upcoming Michael Jackson trial questioned defense attorneys Thursday about why they were not preparing reports and statements on possible witnesses and said he may penalize them if more information isn't turned over to prosecutors.
Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor spent more than an hour dealing with evidence and witness issues in the case of Dr. Conrad Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 death of Jackson.
Pastor bristled when defense attorney J. Michael Flanagan said he did not prepare any notes on likely witnesses, including forensic experts.
Flanagan told Pastor he hadn't prepared such notes for trials for at least 10 years.
Flanagan contended that California trial laws don't require him to prepare reports on witness interviews to hand over to prosecutors.
Pastor disagreed, saying the strategy appeared to undermine rules intended to prevent surprises during testimony at trial.
"It is a recipe for disaster," Pastor said. "We don't do trials based upon memory."
The judge rejected a request by prosecutor Deborah Brazil to vacate the scheduled start of Murray's trial in late March over the issue.
She argued there was no way the doctor's defense team could be prepared for trial if they had not yet written and handed over reports.
Pastor ordered attorneys to return to court on Monday to further discuss witness statements and other possible evidence.
The judge also told Flanagan and defense attorney Ed Chernoff there could be consequences - including sanctions, a delay of trial or exclusion of witnesses - if the lawyers did not give prosecutors more details about their case.
Chernoff said they intend to call several of Murray's patients as character witnesses to rebut an anticipated attempt by prosecutors to paint Murray as a reckless physician who gave Jackson a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol.
Coroner's officials determined the singer died from acute propofol intoxication. The anesthetic is normally given in hospital settings, but Murray was using it as a sleep aid in the bedroom of Jackson's rented mansion.
Flanagan said one defense expert is likely to claim Jackson was addicted to Demerol and was suffering from withdrawal when he died.
Brazil said there was no evidence of that, and Pastor questioned how an expert could come to that conclusion without making any notes.
"I'm just finding it very difficult to believe that a renowned forensic expert in any subject is going to take the stand without notes in front of him or her," Pastor said.
The judge deferred ruling on whether attorney Nareg Gourjian can join Murray's defense team.
Gourjian was a former associate of celebrity attorney Mark Geragos, who represented Jackson from 2003 to 2005 when the singer was accused of child molestation. Gourjian left the case before Jackson's trial, which ended with his acquittal.
Geragos said he would not voice concerns about Gourjian defending Murray in open court, and Pastor agreed to meet with him in closed session next week. Gourjian was ordered to prepare a sworn statement detailing exactly what he had done on Jackson's case.
Gourjian has said he did little work on the case.
In a separate matter, attorneys for Jackson's mother, Katherine, told a judge handling a wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoter AEG Live that they would not pursue civil conspiracy and intentional infliction of emotional distress claims against AEG Live.
AEG was organizing a planned series of comeback concerts titled "This Is It," when Jackson died in June 2009.
A civil court judge ruled earlier this month that Katherine Jackson could not pursue the claims without amending her lawsuit, but the case could continue with allegations that AEG failed to properly supervise Murray.
The judge handling the involuntary manslaughter case against Michael Jackson's doctor indicated Monday he might delay the trial in what would be a defeat for defense lawyers anxious to get on with the proceedings.
"I am extremely distressed about the state of this case and whether the defense is prepared for trial and its obligations to Dr. Murray," Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor said.
Prosecutors urged the judge to delay the scheduled March 24 start of jury selection, and Pastor asked them to present case law on the matter Wednesday, when he ordered defendant Conrad Murray to appear in court.
The doctor, who has pleaded not guilty, has been absent from the past few hearings under a waiver that allowed him to continue working at his clinics in Texas and Nevada.
Murray's medical license to practice in California has been suspended by Pastor. Defense attorney J. Michael Flanagan told the judge the urgency of getting to trial involves Murray's fear that if it takes too long, Texas and Nevada will lift his medical license as well.
Flanagan also suggested that Murray is running out of money to fund his defense.
"We need to go to trial right away," he said. "We don't have the budget that would let us draw this out."
Flanagan acknowledged, "We are still preparing this case," but said it was normal for evidence to develop even after the trial has begun.
"We will be ready for trial March 24," Flanagan said. "We are not ready today."
Prosecutors objected that they are entitled to receive discovery of defense evidence 30 days before trial starts, a deadline which has already passed. Deputy District Attorney Deborah Brazil said she has received no reports from defense experts or any statements from proposed defense witnesses.
Flanagan angrily complained that the prosecution has not met all of its discovery obligations either.
The judge ordered Brazil and Deputy District Attorney David Walgren to turn over clean digital photos from Jackson's autopsy as well as all of the surveillance tapes recorded at his Bel Air home on June 25, 2009, the day he died of an overdose of the anesthetic propofol and other sedatives.
Pastor said that unless both sides quickly meet their discovery obligations, he will begin issuing sanctions of $1,500 per lawyer per day. The judge said he may have to start holding daily hearings in order to compel discovery.
Among the experts Flanagan said he expects to call is a leading authority on the use propofol. Flanagan said the witness believes Jackson was addicted to the pain killer Demerol and was withdrawing it at the time of his death, which may have complicated his reactions.
Outside court, Flanagan said prosecutors had 20 months to prepare their case while the defense began developing evidence in the past six weeks after a preliminary hearing.
Flanagan said outside court that he believes Pastor can't overrule the speedy trial requirement unless the defense is found unprepared on the day of trial. By then, the judge will have called hundreds of prospective jurors to the courthouse and arranged for extra security. He stressed that arranging for such a high-profile trial is time consuming and complicated.
Judge allows new defense lawyer for Jackson doctor
LOS ANGELES – A judge has allowed a new attorney to join the defense team of the doctor charged in Michael Jackson's death. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor ruled Friday that there was "no real or potential conflict of interest" that prevents Nareg Gourjian from joining the case. Gourjian worked for celebrity attorney Mark Geragos, who represented Jackson when he was facing child molestation charges. Pastor ruled after meeting in chambers with Geragos and an attorney for Jackson's estate. Dr. Conrad Murray faces an involuntary manslaughter charge and opening statements in his trial are slated to begin May 9. Gourjian replaces another attorney who left after a preliminary hearing in January where the doctor was ordered to stand trial.
WHATEVER THEY TRY - THEY WILL NOT COME TO WHERE THEY WANT TO WITH ALL THEIR LIES AND CONSPIRACY!
"TRUTH, THE POWER OF LOVE AND A STONG BELIEF AND TRUST IN LOVE AND DIVINE JUSTICE PREVAIL MARATHON!! WE JUST NEED TO STICK TOGETHER AND HOLD ON. THERE IS SO MUCH LOVE FOR MICHAEL THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND THE STRONG INTENTION TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN! THE DESTINATION IS CLEAR!

Dr. Conrad Murray's legal team has only received 4 minutes of video from the surveillance cameras capturing the last 24 hours of Michael Jackson's life ... TMZ has learned.
Lawyers for Dr. Murray will go to court Wednesday and ask a judge to order authorities to turn over all of the surveillance videos.
Sources connected to Murray tell TMZ ... the only video the LAPD turned over was from around 12:30 AM the day MJ died ... showing Michael returning to the house after his rehearsal.
Sources connected with Murray claim the cops only downloaded 11 minutes of the video. Murray's lawyers want to see all 24 hours ... particularly who comes in and out of the house in the hours before MJ died.
It's so true, Irina. The deceit seems to be unending. Will we ever hear an answer to your question? Also, will we ever know why they only downloaded 11 minutes of the video. Are those officers perhaps living well these days? It's sad that I've come to suspect corruption at every level of law inforcement and government.
On the other hand, I still like to stay open to the possibility that we may be unexpectedly & pleasantly surprised someday, that the whole truth comes out; every bit of it. I hope I'm still around to enjoy that!
The more that we follow this case the more blatantly deceitful all appears. The lies just keep piling on. One outrageous surprise keeps following the other. And the trial hasn't even begun.
Still please do keep those thoughts positive, Chaturi. Even with all that is happening to people not too far from us. We all better stick around. Can't abandon Earthship now. :)
I feel we have all been brought here to see this story through to a positive end; and maybe more so to see all the deceitful entanglements on this Planet come to and end as well. At least that is my hope and wish...

1) Who took the security cameras down and/or took the surveillance footage in the first place on June 25, 2009? 2) When was it 'discovered' that the surveillance footage was actually missing? 3) When was this footage actually recovered? 4) Who was the individual or group who possessed this footage and turned it in to police? 5) Wouldn't BOTH the prosecution and the defense want access to all 24 hours of that footage? Both sides would need to see it and should want to see it. That's just common sense to me, and I'm not an attorney or a legal expert. This type of evidence is CRUCIAL to pinning down EXACTLY who came and went from the house the night of June 24th and the morning of June 25th.
If Murray is telling the truth about not having given Michael the amount of propofol found in his system, then someone else did. The defense has tried to claim that Michael injected himself, but too many medical experts have already hinted, suggested or outright stated that they would not cut Murray any slack in that department. They would STILL hold him accountable for neglecting his patient.
If Murray is the 'fall guy,' as some people (myself included) believe, then the person(s) responsible will more than likely be on that surveillance video at some point. Such video will have time stamps on it, so the time frames as well as the individuals coming and going will be visible for all to see.
That is assuming, of course, that a cover-up is not taking place. If a cover-up IS taking place, the key surveillance video footage will conveniently be missing or will never be asked for. I'll give Murray's defense team credit for having the intelligence to insist on seeing ALL the footage. The prosecution should be doing the same.
I just read the following on the internet - but have no idea if it is true:
From Twitter: "Michael Jackson Surveillance Video Erased- The surveillance video of Michael Jackson's home the day he died has been erased -- lost forever, because the LAPD never knew MJ's death would turn into a criminal case." ---------- "...be alive, be free, feel consciousness, subsciousness, being GOD..." MJ
I hope this is a twitter rumor. But, it would NOT surprise me!! I have a very BAD taste in my mouth for how law enforcement has treated him in the past. OVER-KILL raid on Neverland - and, when they arrested him they physically abused him, humiliated him, and emotionally-destroyed him from ever being able to sleep well again after that experience.
ALL OF THESE PEOPLE from way back then - STARTING WITH MARTIN BRASHIR until today have his BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS!
I just read on here that they had the tapes so I was shocked but, hopeful! Now, I read this! UGGGGHHH
Anyway, Hi to Bonnie and all! Prayers for all the people in Japan!
Ok - I am sorry! I just don't believe this. Because WHO is going to erase ANYTHING Michael Jackson . . . .especially after he has passed. Even if they did not like him - they would maybe try to sell it at a later date.
This maybe what is being said by law enforcement - or maybe a rumor. . . .but, I don't believe anyone would do this.
It is more likely that it was never recorded in the first place.
The owners of the rental house filed a claim against the estate for damages to the system. That is documented and early on the media blamed Michael for the damage. Everyone knows he feared for his life. It would make no sense for him to disable the system. The big questions are: WHO DID and WHY? The house was robbed that night. Money, jewelry, and computer hard drives with unpublished material were taken. Of course early on the media blamed Jackson family members for taking things from the house.
TMZ's source says there is 11 minutes that starts at approx 12:30am but only 4 minutes was provided to the defense. Like most things concerning Michael; that makes no sense. If there is footage all of it would need to be turned over to the defense. If the time of 12.30am is correct, the footage would not show anything meaningful anyway. If there was footage we would have seen it. The media loves that stuff.
Lawyers for some key witnesses in Dr. Conrad Murray's manslaughter trial over the death of Michael Jacksonwent to court today, trying to avoid giving up what could be critical evidence in the case.
Lawyers for Dr. Arnold Klein -- Jackson's longtime doc -- and AEG honcho Randy Phillips asked the judge to quash subpoenas issued by Dr. Murray, requiring them to produce information about MJ that the defense claims is relevant to his death.
Murray wants to find out exactly what drugs and treatment Klein gave MJ in the months before his death. TMZ reported Klein injected Michael with Demerol 51 times in the 3 months that preceded his death.
As for Phillips, we've learned Murray's team wants to know what interactions AEG had with Michael -- in particular, AEG's expectations about Michael's rehearsal schedule and its involvement in selecting Dr. Murray as Michael's doc.
Lawyers for 5 other witnesses, including Tohme Tohme, Michael's former advisor, also tried to quash their subpoenas.
A huge development in the Dr. Conrad Murray trial involving the death of Michael Jackson ... the defense wants a first generation fingerprint of a broken syringe found in MJ's bedroom the day he died ... and our sources say they think it could prove that Michael killed himself.
Dr. Murray's lawyers were in court this AM. Among other things, they lasered in on a broken syringe that had rolled under Michael's deathbed. The defense wants a first generation fingerprint to determine who was handling it.
Defense sources tell us ... Dr. Murray insists he did not break the syringe. As TMZ first reported ... the defense believes MJ caused his own death by giving himself a massive overdose of Propofol while Murray was out of the room.
Defense sources say ... there were only two people in the room, and since Murray did not break the syringe, Michael must have handled it.
The defense is asking that the FBI deliver the first generation fingerprint.
This is hair raising. How much more preposterous can all of the defense's ideas and the whole scenario get? Well lets see if they buy that Michael sipped the Propofol from a juice box of all things!!! Well that did not go over too well. So lets try the broken syringe idea now... Ugh... how sickening...
