Please explain your experience: I am now 25 years old. In 1992, the entire 6th grade students of my school took a field trip to Old Town. My class was the only class lucky enough to be able to go inside the house (due to cleaning and maintenance). Entering the house, I was scared to begin with, hehe I was a kid. We looked around, peered through the glass blocked rooms, but I had been feeling cold spots all over the house. I smelled a faint dank smell. I can only compare it now to a fog machine. When looking into the courthouse the chains were swinging, and there was what seemed to be a child around the age of 7 or so, possibly a little girl swinging them with her hands. Then we headed to the upstairs. We were told to see if we could smell the Lady of the House’s Perfume on the 7th step. I was unable to. We looked around upstairs, and were told the tour was to continue outside. On our way back down stairs something had "passes through" or very near me. I was on the second to bottom stair when a mix of the dank smell of I believe lavender and rose oil hit my nose. I thought at the time, it was only because I was imagining things because I was frightened. But through all these years I have never forgotten it.
