MADRID -- Indie U.S. sales company
Alfred Haber Distribution has taken exclusive international rights to
Sci Fi Channel reality skein
"Ghost Hunters International," an overseas spinoff from the basic cabler's hit series "Ghost Hunters."
The 40-year-old AHDI handled international sales on four seasons of the original, U.S.-set hit "Ghost Hunters," which was a hot ticket for AHDI.
Continuing Sci Fi's expansion into nonscripted fare, the 13-part "Ghost Hunters International" follows an intrepid band of real-life, debunking ghoul hunters to some of the best-known haunts in Europe.
Segs explore Chillingham Castle in England; the vaults and tunnels of Mary King's Close in Scotland; and the Abbey at Lucedio, near Turin, Italy.
"Ghost Hunters International" will be unveiled by New Jersey-based AHDI at April's Mip TV mart in Cannes.
