Ghost hunter Cody Polston says the yellow in this image captured at the Shaffer Hotel is significant
A group of ghost hunters on Saturday shared the results of their investigation into Mountainaire’s Shaffer Hotel – and probably induced some goose bumps.
Cody Polston, one of the investigators, showed a slide of a yellowish light that he says the group recorded during a recent visit to the hotel. He says the image is significant.
“The yellow -- very, very seldom do we get yellow in our images,” said Polston.
Polston says the investigators felt a presence when they were at the site and began recording themselves as they tried to interact with the presence.
“Are you responsible for that?” one of the investigators asks after hearing a sound. The question is followed by a sound like a screech.
“Can you tell us what your name is, at least,” an investigator asks. The tape appears to have captured the sound of a voice answering “Shaffer.”
“Whoa! Oh my,” the tape captures one of the investigators saying. “He says Shaffer. The reason that’s kind of cool is it’s the name of someone directly related to the hotel.”
The ghost hunters stop short of saying that they experienced a ghost. They say only that they experienced phenomena that aren’t explained by science.
