AUSTRALIA. Cherie Burton, Australias Housing Minister, has revealed that
her dead grandfather has communicated with her through American medium
John Holland.
In what she describes as a view-changing experience?, her grandfather
provided quite accurate? evidence about some things, including the
nickname he had for her. And he correctly predicted that she would soon
find a partner and start a family.

Speaking to Australias The Sunday Telegraph, Cherie Burton revealed that
the spirit communication occurred in 2003 when she attended a
demonstration in Sydney by TV psychic John Edward of Crossing Over fame.
At that time she was a parliamentary secretary for mental health.

With Edward on his tour was another TV psychic, John Holland (left),
with whom she was offered a private consultation, last 20 minutes. Her
grandfather, who had died six years earlier, communicated.

knew that was my grandfather,? she told the newspaper, adding: When
you lose someone you really love, then get an opportunity to talk to

Although she was brought up as a Catholic and regards herself as
skeptical by nature, the government minister also describes herself as a
spiritual person. The experience, she admits, has changed her.

He was quite accurate about certain things. I was taken aback by the
experience. It was very view-changing.
The medium kept saying September was significant for Cherie Burton who,
until then had allowed her career to dominate her life. I was single at
the time, she told the newspaper, and getting older, and they said,
Youll meet someone and get married and have a baby and Ive done all of
that.?

She met Andrew Murphy in September 2003, the couple married in 2006 and
Cherie gave birth to their son, Joel, last September.
John Holland also told her she would do well in her career a prediction
that was soon followed to her promotion as Housing Minister.
Boston-based Holland has featured on CBS TVs Unsolved Mysteries and is a
regular guest on TV and radio programmes in North America.
