There are many people who are skeptical of the supernatural world and then there are those who are intrigued by it and thrive to learn more and more about it. You have some people who are looking for haunted places and even those who snap pictures to try and pick up Orbs or some kind of representation of a spirit.
There is the Ghosts of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. You can explore the battlefield. Since the war happened there people have reported sightings of different ghosts on the field. Such as Soldiers walking around or in position to fire as if they are in the war. Some houses and motels in Gettysburg are haunted as well. The Farnsworth House Inn was built in 1810. It has been called one of the most haunted houses in America. Staff has said to have seen spirits in here. The basement holds a reconstructed Victorian funeral parlor with the nineteenth century mourning memorabilia. People have reported to seeing sightings down there during the tours.
New Orleans, Louisiana has its fair share of ghosts. The Andrew Jackson hotel on 919 Royal St. was once an all boy's boarding school. It was completely destroyed during an infamous fire back in the 1700's. It is now an all adult hotel. It has been claimed that five boys died during the outbreak of the fire. People who have stayed the night have made reportings of hearing laughs coming from boys and playing outside the courtyard of the hotel. Other people have made reports of seeing sightings of Andrew Jackson. I guess you will have to go see this place for yourself to see what's going.
There is a place called Bottom of the Cup Tea Room. A ghost known as Julhunts the place has been seen and felt brushing past people. The Castle Inn could be an interesting place to get a good nights rest or so you think. There have been reportings of a little girl who just wants to play and a black man who got burned in a wood shed that now smokes.
San Francisco, California could be a fun place to visit if you are coming to find ghosts. The Alcatraz Island has been said to have former inmates that still haunt the grounds of this place.
There is a school for girls called Queen Anne Hotel a woman who use to teach here is said to haunt a room number 410. It's an all girl's school. Before the San Francisco Art Institute was built there was a graveyard here. There are rumors that restless spirits have still stuck around.
Baltimore, Maryland has some share of its hauntings. There is a place called Black Woods it has been rumored that it is haunted by a witch. If you find a house and head into the basement rumor has it that a witch will kill you. Cardinal Gibbons School was once St. Mary's industrial school. Which was once the place that Babe Ruth as a small child lived. Teachers have reported that he haunts the school. Lights have been reported coming on by themselves when there was no way of anyone getting in and the place was empty.
Church Home and Hospital was a place where Edgar Allen Pole died. There have been reportings of odd noises and doors shutting. Bel Air, Maryland is another interesting place to go ghost seeking. Workers of Kb Toy Works have reported toys falling from the shelves for no reason and noises. A crying voice of a girl has been reported being heard at night, and there names being called out to them in a soft whisper.
Thomas Run there has been reports of a man in a dressed in black. He has been seen by children at night after rain storms. He has also been spotted in the woods.
Ammendale Normal Institute is used by a Catholic Organization. It's a place to train there priest and used for there retirement. A lot of strange things have been reported here.
