Danny Dyer moved out of his old house because he was convinced that ghosts were occupying his daughter's bedroom.
The EastEnders actor, 38, was terrified of the creepy experience that he decided to move his family to a brand new pad free of the pesky spirits.
Danny - who has devoted an entire chapter to ghosts in his new book - said that after his co-star Danny-Boy Hatchard stayed the night in daughter Dani's room he was so freaked out he left.
Writing in The World According To Danny Dyer: Life Lessons From The East End, the potty-mouthed star said: "He left first thing in the morning because the room freaked him out. I asked him why and he said there was this knocking. Knock, knock, knock.
"I said it's probably a pipe but he went 'Nah, it weren't a pipe'."
Dani, 19, also had a spooky experience in the property in Loughton, Essex: "Dani was in there listening to music and heard someone shouting her name. Weird s**t and no mistake."
The star, who plays Mick Carter in the BBC soap, has just moved his family into a new £1.5milliion five-bedroom house.
