IF you get spooked by creepy dolls, look away now.
Forget Annabelle, this is Kwinana’s very own haunted doll.
According to locally based Paranormal Activity Research Australia (PARA), the doll that resides at the Kwinana Heritage Museum at Smirk’s Cottage has done a number of unsettling things.
It is often found in different positions or places to where it was left. PARA members reported leaving the doll in a chair and returning to the room to find it elsewhere.
PARA member Mel Wood, who admitted she wasn’t fond of any kind of doll, said she and a member of another local ghost hunter group witnessed the doll’s arm move during a paranormal investigation at the homestead.
“We were in the room and looking at it, when we saw its hand move towards us,” she said.
“It scared the hell out of me so I got out of that room as quick as possible.”
The doll was purchased as an historic artefact for the museum, which includes pieces dating back more than 100 years.
