A paranormal investigator is looking for people with creepy experiences of a local hospital to get in touch.
Author Brian Allan is researching his 11th book, which will be about the old Bellsdyke Hospital.
The former mental hospital has long been the subject of speculation it could have been haunted.
Brian (69) said: “I’ve heard from lots of people, former nurses and staff, who have seen things that cannot be easily explained.
“I have briefly been in the hospital myself and it is unquestionably creepy. The building did not have a nice atmosphere.”
The Larbert institution was originally called Stirling District Lunacy Asylum and housed patients with mental problems ranging from post-natal depression to severe learning difficulties.
It opened in 1869 and today is a smaller hospital and most of the original buildings have been demolished.
Brian, from Kincardine, added: “I’d like to hear from anyone that worked at or visited Bellsdyke Hospital and saw anything strange - no matter how trivial it may seem.”
Email Brian at paratec7@aol.com if you have any haunting experiences.
