WDRB's Ghost Hunt at Waverly Hills

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Waverly Hills is an old sanatorium located in southwest Jefferson County. The tuberculosis hospital closed it's doors in 1961.
Tens of thousands of people died in the building and a lot of strong emotions were left behind, emotions we hoped to connect with inside the building.
"Trust your gut instinct if you don't feel good in that area, then maybe you shouldn't be in that area," said parapsychologist, Mike Flickner.
Waverly Hills ghost tours are done for the season. They run from March through September. But they have turned the first floor of the building, into a haunted house for Halloween.
The haunted house runs every Friday and Saturday night through November 2nd. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and close at 1 a.m.
