Turns out the ghostly image of a burglar captured by a Sugar House security camera was of an actual flesh-and-bones person, not an apparition.
Last week, we wrote about an unidentified man captured on camera burglarizing a Sugar House home on Sept. 11. The camera caught a clear picture of a suspect who, possibly by some trick of the light or the way the camera captured the image, looked like a ghost — pale as a sheet in his all-white clothing. After the image was shared by police, the burglar was quickly identified. The 22-year-old man is now charged with burglary of a residence, according to Salt Lake City police.
