'I'm surprising doctors with my recovery': Paranormal State's Ryan Buell, 30, on pancreatic cancer battle

Recovering: Paranormal State presenter Ryan Buell gave fans an update on his cancer fight on Twitter
Paranormal State star Ryan Buell has revealed he is making great strides in his battle with pancreatic cancer.
The 30-year-old took to Twitter to update his fans following his diagnosis last month.
The star, who is uncommonly young to be struck by the disease, said: 'Still have a ways to go but I am surprising docs w/ how well I'm recovering, apparently.'
And he kept up the theme of health when someone asked him what the best thing was that has ever happened to him.
The openly bisexual reality television personality, who founded the Paranormal Research Society at Penn State University when he was just 19-years-old, said: 'Hopefully getting to say I'm cancer free by Christmas!'
And the conversation took a predictably spooky turn when someone wanted to know if his investigations into hauntings had anything to do with his illness.
Ryan, who has just moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina, responded: 'Maybe,but I refuse to think like that.'
However if anyone was thinking his health battle would see him cut back on his commitments he soon put that to bed.
He gave hints about a host of events and appearances he has planned, including checking out the PRS fan club now that he's able to work again, following a spell of personal leave.
But work is not the only thing that is on his mind, as Ryan revealed he is desperate to catch up on the hit HBO show True Blood.

Ryan's Paranormal State collaborator Chip Coffey previously revealed that he was inspired by the bravery of his old friend.
He told People: 'The times that I talked with him after his diagnosis, he sounded very determined.
'His resolve and his determination hopefully will work toward his benefit of being able to be able to fight this disease.
'Ryan continues to be, always, in my thoughts and in my prayers'
