The cost to attend this event is $40 per person and $75 for couples. BPI will be doing a presentation on their experiences with the paranormal, and after the presentation there will be a ghost haunt. Tickets can be purchased at www.ironislandmuseum.com.
"Its something different for Valentines Day Eve. You can bring your boy/girlfriend or a friend and come out and enjoy yourself," said Linda J. Hastreiter, president of Iron Island Museum.
The brick church that is now Iron Island Museum was erected in 1895 and was well-attended by the congregation of the Methodist-Episcopal denomination. The building was abandoned for a short while until a funeral director took over in the late 50s. To accommodate services, a building was built inside the church with three viewing rooms.
"It's a fun building with an interesting history on different items and artifacts," said Hastreiter.
Iron Island Museum was featured on an episode of the SyFy Ghost Hunters (back on 9/3/2008) and ruled to be 100 percent haunted. Don't miss ghost haunting on the eve of Valentines Day, come see if things really go 'bumpin' around in the night at the "playground for the paranormal".
