There's a ghost hunters workshop planned for next month at what has been called one of the most haunted places in the Philadelphia region.
Chew House on the Cliveden Estate in Germantown is empty of its collections during its ongoing reconstruction project, which paranormal investigators say could have stirred up the many ghosts said to be residing there.
Education director Rick Fink says the master bedroom is one of the most ghostly spots:
"I've had a number of different tour guides and visitors all say that when they come into this room they smell the scent of lavender perfume. I've had other people say that sometimes they've come in here and felt the presence of a woman in here. There's people who have actually said they've seen a woman in here."
Ghost Hunting 101 will be held Saturday June 13th. To register, call 267-496-5267.
