Soap stars to join celeb ghost hunt
Prepare to be scared silly as intrepid investigator Yvette Fielding of Most Haunted fame, joins forces with another bunch of celebrities to go in search of things that go bump in the night.
Fielding will be scurrying round an array of supposedly haunted locations in the company of old friend Paul O'Grady, Natasha Hamilton from Atomic Kitten, and former soap stars Jennifer Ellison and Phil Olivier of Brookside fame.
Airing on September 4 on ITV2, the show will follow the group and Yvette Fielding to three separate locations in Sicily - the Teatro Massimo theatre, an 11th-century castle in Carini and the Capuchin Catacombs, below a 16th-century monastery.
The Teatro Massimo theatre is one of the biggest in Italy and is said to be haunted by the ghost of a nun.
During their stay at the theatre Paul blurts out: "There is more tension here than in the Middle-East."
Meanwhile, at Carini Castle the celebs hear the tale of the Princess of the Castle that originates from the sad story of Baroness Laura.
It is here the team investigate a supposed hand print and also take part in a seance.
The brave souls then descend in to the catacombs to undergo a scary planchette session before facing the most frightening scenario of all - exposure to dozens of skeletons while trying to communicate with the ghost of a young girl who lies embalmed amid the remains.
It's not the first time Fielding has put the wind up soap stars in this series of one-off shows.
Previously, she's explored spooky locations with cast members from Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
