(Bristol, N.Y.) - The Bristol Town Hall became the subject of a paranormal investigation, as 13WHAM News recently reported.
For years, Ontario County Sheriff's deputies who used the satellite office at the Bristol Town Hall swore there was ghostly activity.
Bristol town historian, Helen Fox, commissioned the Central New York Paranormal Investigators Group to conduct a sweep.
It wasn't that she believed in the ghosts, rather she just wanted to dispel rumors that have plagued the town hall for years.
However, that did not happen. The investigators came in, set up cameras, noise recorder, and heat and electronic field detectors. They taped everything for 24 hours and the results came back "inconclusive."
Fox said the investigators did pick up some noises and they want to come back this fall and do a sweep again.
Fox said CNN contacted her for an interview, but she declined saying she thinks the new noises might have been caused by a bird.
Still she looks forward to a second sweep to kill the entire ghostly buzz.
