THE multi-million re-development of the Draculas theatre in Broadbeach is going according to plan, but Marc Newman is worried some small things may not return to normal.
Bats used to be seen circling above the theatre at night, which gave passers-by the ghoulish image of a real haunted house.
"We used to put trays of fruit on the roof," Marc said.
"Once the bats got used to the surrounds they would hover and swoop in at night and it really did add to the look of an old haunted house.
"With all the construction work going on around the theatre, they've been scared off."We're hoping that after the work is completed for the big opening Halloween night on October 31 they will return to join us for their usual feast."
