This may be not all it is purported to be. The dates are telling. There is more to this than meets the eye, don't you think?
What makes you come to the conclusion that Raymone Bain is "crocked"?
I have not heard of her being UN-supportive of Michael. In fact she was most recently noted as wanting to give testimony in support of Heal the World in their battle with the Estate.

Michael Jackson SUED! This press release just showed up in my email .....apparently Michael Jackson's p/r person is suing him. I only know what is written below:
STATEMENT OF RAYMONE K. BAIN REGARDING THE LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST MICHAEL J. JACKSON IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA Washington, D.C. (May 5, 2009) It is with deep regret that I find myself at this place, having to file a lawsuit against my longtime employer, and someone whom I have greatly admired and respected, Michael Jackson. Mr. Jackson and I have had a long, productive and mutually beneficial business relationship. Unfortunately, Mr. Jackson has elected not to honor the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolvethis matter. I am sincerely disappointed in Mr. Jackson s failure to honor his obligations. This lawsuit will result in some discussion about the relationship between Mr. Jackson and me. Hypothetical theories, accusations and rumors, if gauging from the past, will be many. However, all of these will be replaced in court with the truth. On a personal note, I would like to thank all of the individuals who have given so much of their time and effort to assist me throughout the Jackson years. I thank you for your support and prayers. To the Jackson fans who have written letters to me, thank you, and I wish you all the best. Despite the action I have been compelled to take for professional and business reasons, when looking back, I have no regrets. Michael Jackson, in my opinion, is the King of Pop, and I wish him, and his family, only the best.
------------ It was also reported that Michael stayed with Raymone Bain in Northern Virgina in the Summer of '07, after apparently needing to relocate. There is additional proof of this in the documents showing correspondence with the licensing office, posted by Heal the World foundation.

Bain pleads guilty to tax evasion on funds she claims in a lawsuit she never received. I am pretty sure she filed a claim with the estate as well. I would have to double check.
Based upon the tone she loves Michael but has deep concerns about the commitments of her contract. This was filed just weeks before his death. I think we have reason to believe Michael was not in control of his business by this time.
IMHO, Bonnie

MJ Most Trusted Flack Files Estate Claim 4/9/2010 9:37 PM PDT by TMZ Staff
Michael Jackson's longtime publicist/manager/friend has jumped on the creditor's claim train ... and wants $360,000 from the Michael Jackson estate.
Raymone Bain worked for Jackson for many years and says her salary was $30,000 a month. According to legal papers, Bain claims she wasn't paid at all in 2008.
Bain filed a $44 million lawsuit against Michael Jackson just shy of two months before he died, claiming she did everything for Michael and was grossly shortchanged.
Bain, who is quite the character in her own right, credits herself in the documents as "personal general manager to Michael J. Jackson."
Didn't pay federal taxes in 2008 and filed suit claiming she was not paid at all in 2008.
Estate dismisses her claim because her filing was too late, even though she had a pending lawsuit while Michael was still alive. Still not paid.
Was a witness for the HTWF lawsuit against the Estate. Stating very clearly that the HTWF was working with Michael's blessing. Many others did too. Katherine was taken behind closed doors right before the trial and gave everything over to the estate. No apologies were ever given to the HTWF for telling the world they were a scam, when clearly, they were not.
Raymone Bain is also on the witness list for the Conrad Murray trial. She has been a strong advocate for Michael and clearly felt something was wrong when she was excluded from the O2 concert deal.
What better time to smear her than now?
Hmmmm, Bonnie

Your match game makes it all crystal clear. Thanks for all the posts Mar, Irina, and Bonnie. I didn't know about this and forgot she was a witness for HTWF. Appreciate that you brought it to our attention.
Maybe Ramone Bain saw the film I saw and sent to many of my friends last Christmas.
“Freedom to Fascim” by Aaron Russo. Incredible eye opening film by a fabulous - and courageous - film maker.
Here is a snippet - pay close attention starting at the 2:05 mark:
I highly recommend to ALL Americans that they purchase and watch this film in its entirety. When you’re finished, if you’ve been paying attention, you should be mad as H*LL! All the money that gets taken out your paycheck as part of the ‘income tax’ is unconstitutional. The film explains why.
Maybe Ramone Bain knows this. . .Good for her!
If not, I still support her and believe she respected Michael and his wishes in life, generally speaking.
"Did he sign a contract specifying that he would pay her that much? If so, then he's legally entitled to pay her that much. If not, then I agree, she doesn't have any right to ask for that much."
EXAMPLE from rebeccainyourdream who blogs:
"Another issue here... She must be some kind of stupid...
If she was talking about the trial, on top of failing to do her job, Michael would have grounds for not one but TWO counter suits wouldn’t he?
I mean, failure to do what u say u will do (which evidently she failed ) im sure there would also have been a clause about non-disclosure?
So talking about the trial would violate that...
Well... I guess better shut up because I am blindly speculating. And if I’m wrong,
He owes her money. Plain and simple.
Really, my money for who's at fault here is on whoever managed Michael's finances. They have obviously dropped the ball more than once in the past. so they very well may have done so here.
I do think it's sad the MJ is still getting sued by everyone and their brother-in-law though."
ETC, ETC, ETC :o)
I think a lot of people are confused as to what is going on (according to the blogs) because of how it is being reported. No surprise there, the media at their finest.
I am glad you have given me a different prospective on this everyone, because that would be terrible if R. Bain sued the estate for "$40 million" and she did not really earn that amount. The estate’s money should be given to Michael's children. It is their legacy from Michael. People unlawfully and excessively suing the estate is just wrong and there has been many in the past.
