“So many people have hope for the afterlife and this proves it – to me anyway.” – Melissa Kurtz
Boo!
It was just a regular weekend for Harper Kurtz and her mom, Melissa. On their way to a beauty pageant, Harper became bored like any other 13-year-old. So, she decided to fool around with her phone and take some selfies.
However, when she saw the pictures at a later date, it was a terrifying experience! According to The Sun, a ghostly image of a young boy appeared to be photobombing her!
Is that a GHOST in the back seat??
This was extremely disturbing to the teenager’s mom, Melissa because they had been the only ones in the vehicle. Intrigued as to why this event would have occurred, she started doing research.
Apparently, there had been an accident on the road that they had been driving on. Their car passing through that particular area happened to take place on the same date as the fatal occurrence. Melissa had presented the snapshot to various paranormal experts who confirmed that it appeared as if the child were “reaching for Harper.”
Magnet for Otherworldly Activity
Ms. Kurtz stated that she found out that someone had been medivacked from the scene. She contacted the service which could not provide her with any information leading Melissa to conclude that it was probably a youngster that perished in the wreck.
This sort of thing is not surprising to Kurtz because her daughter has always been a “magnet for paranormal activity.” When Harper was younger orbs would appear in pictures with her and once Melissa found her “drawing glyphs which turned out to be the archangel Raphael and how he banished the demon Asmodeus to hell.”
Melissa also revealed that Harper refuses to wear her seatbelt despite her constant pleas. She feels that the young boy could have been warning her to listen to her mother.
According to Greg Pocha, who is the director of parapsychology, afterlife and paranormal studies at Eidolon Project Canada, the purpose of ghosts may be to “warn others how not to meet the same fate as them.”
Melissa has shown the selfie to paranormal experts who can not debunk it. “So many people have hope for the afterlife and this proves it – to me anyway. People [who have seen it] have taken comfort in that.”
